Mii’s – what are they?
‘Multi Income Individuals’
In fact, a recent report has shown that 1 in 3 working adults now has more than one source of income!
Wow, 1 in 3, that’s a huge number
And it’s risen sharply since the pandemic….before which it was 1 in 4!
Now, 1 in 4 (25%) is still high, and it shows that people are realising that it is both sensible – and necessary – to have money coming in from more than one place!
We have multiple streams of outgoings….so it makes sense to have multiple streams of income too, right 🙋 ♀️
It’s common knowledge these days that there is no such thing as job security…..
……and the pandemic only reinforced that, with so many people affected by job losses, redundancies, higher competition in the job market, etc
So, over the last few years, that number has risen from 25%, to 33%
Why has there been such a sharp rise?
There are many reasons, but I think most people agree it boils down to one of these reasons
– beating the cost of living squeeze
– creating financial security
– having a plan B
– protecting against job losses
– boosting income
– extra money for the nice-to-have’s such as holidays and other treats
– planning for retirement
– to create more choices
This report shows that, on average, people are adding another £10,000 a year to their income through additional income streams
So you can understand why it’s so attractive to people…..
There’s not many jobs I know that hand out a £10k pay rise just like that, and especially not in the current economic climate…..
So, people are clearly deciding to take matters into their own hands, and take back control of their own financial future by diversifying where their income comes from!
That’s just plain common sense if you ask me!
A no-brainer, as they say!
Why am I talking about this?

For me, the BIGGEST reason ultimately CHOICE!
Creating choices, and ultimately creating freedom and control over your financial future, and that of your family!
